This Guy Cuts All Our Boots In Half - Even R.M. Williams Craftsman's!

Recently we came across the You Tube channel of American leather goods craftsman and boot connoisseur Rose Anvil. The reason he caught our attention is he is cutting all our boots in half! Even a pair of R.M. Williams Classic Craftsman’s have not escaped Rose Anvil’s band saw as he hacks his way through the signature leather sole.

All this destruction is in the name of a decent and honest boot review, and our Aussie brands stand up well to the scrutiny. Blundstone are extremely popular in the States, and Rose Anvil has dedicated three whole videos to them. An initial review video, a comparison between the 500 and the 550, and a comparison between a relatively expensive Blundstone boot that retails at around $200 USD in the States, and a twenty-dollar cheap rip off boot from the likes of Kmart. He answers a few questions about whether Blundstone’s are well constructed and durable, and ultimately if they are worth the money.

Lastly, after several recommendations, he cuts into a Redback boot, and we finally get to see what is inside that ultra-comfy sole. Just as a couple of notes for this video: Redback have a different set of boots made for the USA, so the boots we see in the video have a different product name. The “Great Barrier” boots in the video are called “Nevada Puma Aquapel” here in Australia. The “Mesa” boots that are featured in the video are not available here, the closest we have are the “Bobcat Banana Suede UBBA”. It should be noted that all redback boots, pull on and lace up, have the same sole, the only exclusions are the hospitality series shoes.

All in all, our Australian boots hold up well under this type of extreme evaluation! Have a watch and let us know what you think. Out of curiosity, what boot would you cut in half if you had the chance?
