What's the Difference Between the Blundstone 500 and 600 Boots?

Not much is different between the Classic Blundstone 500 and new Blundstone 600 boot. They look the same, walk the same and talk the same.  The Blundstone 600 boots are just as comfortable as the 500 model. Both styles are made with premium leather, which perfectly moulds to the shape of your feet as you wear them in. And both have the SPS MAX comfort system in the sole, which absorbs the impact to keep your feet feeling fresh.  

The Blundstone 600 is the newer version of Blundstone 500, with three main new features:

1. The 600 boots have a soft leather lining.

The upgraded Blundstone 600 boots are leather lined in comparison to their predecessors, which include no lining. Leather lining not only feels more comfortable on your foot, but it also adds a layer of durability to the boot. This additional feature means the boot is more resistant to rips, tears or developing holes in the outer leather. Leather tends to shape to your feet to give you a better fit. The lining is also a great insulator, keeping your feet warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

2. Herringbone Elastic Sides

The elastic sides on the 600 model have had a minor makeover. The herringbone elastic is a fresh updated look that is different to the other Blundstones that you have in your wardrobe.

3. Folded leather back to increase strength

The hidden stitching featured in the heel adds increased durability in the part of the boot where you need it the most. As Blundstone fans would know, a common method for taking off your boots involves flicking the boots off from the back using your other foot/boot. This method can result in the stitching coming apart over time. However this new feature solves this historic issue. The folded leather back gives your Blundys more toughness, to make sure they go the distance.
