Steel Blue Argyle Safety Boot Black, with side zip and scuff cap. The Argyle is Steel Blue's best selling boot in the whole range. This new variation features a streamlined scuff cap, which is an abrasion-resistant toe cover. The water-resistant Cowhide polished leather upper features an industrial quality zip for easy access, as well as laces for a secure and comfortable fit.
The safety features of this derby style boot include an Antistatic Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU) outsole that is heat resistant to 130 degrees celsius, and a 200J Steel Cap. The Steel Blue Trisole comfort sole system is a patented soling system that provides the wearer with similar shock absorbency and comfort to sports footwear by providing energy-absorbing pads under the pressure points of the foot, protecting feet, hips, and lower back from day to day fatigue.
The boot is lined with a soft hydrophobic material that wicks perspiration away from the foot and a durable, anti-bacterial insole, this boot is engineered for all-round comfort.
Compared to the bump cap, the scuff cap offers more protection of the leather as there's more coverage.
