A bloke from Darwin Clancy Whalan, went out in the tinny for a bit of a fish. Now, Clancy is a bit of a superstitious type, so he left his pluggers (thongs) on a rock next to the boat ramp. He and the lads came back after a fair few brews, and they were gone. He jumped on a crowdsourcing website as soon as he got home, and typed out the most wonderful title — Some bugger nicked me pluggers.  Wouldn’t you know it, his tale of woe touched the hearts of strangers and they donated like the clappers

I love a trip to Buchan caves, not least of all because of all the saucy jokes you can make on the way - oh, Buchan oath can you make a good Buchan pun! We came up from Lakes Entrance, a pretty little fishing town with some good camping especially there behind Eastern Beach, lots of mini golf, and a ripper ice creamery. Great place to go in summer for a proper Aussie layabout camp.

One of the main questions we're always asked here at Everything Australian is lace-up or slip-on… what is best? Well, it depends on what your foot is like, what you're using them for, and how lazy you are. Me, I like a slip-on best because when I'm coming in and out from the workshop, the misses makes me take me boots off, and an elastic-sided number is easily the best for that.
